Spicy green beans stir-fry (bonchi thel dala) is a vegan Sri Lankan curry recipe.„Thel Dala“ means stir-fry in English and this cooking method is used in most of our Sri Lankan ‘kussiya’ (kitchen) on a daily basis. The word „thel“ means „oil“ and „daala“ „to put“, threfore oil is mainly used to cook this dish, although an exception can be made, so we may add a little coconut milk to it at the end of our cooking session.
