Red chilli fish curry (malu mirisata)

In Sri Lanka is common to prepare fish as a curry. Red chilli fish curry (malu mirisata) is one of the testiest seafood dishes that I know from my home country cuisine. We consider fish in Sri Lanka a very important source of protein and is preferred over meat. There is a large variety of fish in the seas of Sri Lanka, being regarded tuna, Indo-Pacific sailfish (thalapath fish), seer, shark, red snapper, shrimps, calamari, crabs, lobsters, shrimps, oysters and cuttlefish as the most important and mostly cooked types.
