Papadam, a crispy cracker. Typically, it is prepared using black gram bean flour, rice flour, or lentil flour is an excellent accompaniment to rice and curry. In Sri Lanka there´s alway ready made papadam at home to be able to offer our visitors and it is also a must at special occasions. Here in Europe I often serve it as fingerfood to Aperol evenings as well as I enjoy it as an afternoon snack.
